Amsterdam Born Children and their Development

The ABCD study is a long-term cohort study, conducted in consecutive phases. Children are followed from the uterus until their early adulthood; at certain moments during this period their health and development are measured.

Data on the first (pregnancy), second (birth and infancy) and third phase (preschool age) have been collected. Phase 4 started in March 2015 and continues up to the end of the year. During this period ABCD-children, their mothers, fathers and teachers will be asked to fill out a questionnaire. Moreover the teacher will be asked to let the child fill out an intelligence and memory task through the internet. More information about the new measurements can be found here.
